NURSING APPRECIATION DAYS

Thursday June 24th "We love our nursing staff"
Thursday kicked off Nursing Appreciation Days with ice cream cones for all the staff. Stickers that said "We love our nursing staff" and crossword puzzles were available to earn tickets for the prize drawings. The 50/50 drawing was also announced and Jennifer Jordet was chosen to give the other half of the money to.

Friday June 25th "Our nursing staff takes great care of our residents"
To get a ticket for the prize drawing, a resident scavenger hunt had to be filled out and turned in. A prize drawing was held today.

Monday June 28th "Welcome Sandy, our new DON"
Sandy started as the new DON today and was handing out tickets to every employee who filled out a get to know me sheet and gave it to her. Another prize drawing was held.

Tuesday June 29th "We love helping"
The 50/50 drawing was held and the winner was Chris Thorn. (Chris donated her half to Jennifer Jordet also). Employees brought in a can of food to donate to recieve a ticket.

Wednesday June 30th "We love to eat"
To end Nursing Appreciation Days, we celebrated with the first BBQ of the summer and a balloon launch.

What a great week of fun we had and what a great staff to support this! Thank you everyone who was involved and helped make this a success!
